BCPNP, Cook 추가점수 제외하기로

지난 7일부터 BC PNP 는 웹사이트를 업데이트 하면서 기존에 부족직군으로 인정되는 100대 직업에 추가점수를 주던 방식을 바꿔 BC High demand occupations 에 해당되는 직업에 추가점수 10점을 부여합니다.

문제는 BC High demand occupations 에는 더 이상 Cook, Chef 와 같이 기존에 한국인들이 많이 했던 직군이 보이질 않는 다는 점입니다.

일단, 웹사이트 상의 뉴스에서는 이미 프로파일 등록을 마친 후보자들은 영향을 받지 않는 다고 되어있긴 하지만, 정확한 것은 다음 주에 진행될 PNP Draw의 결과를 보아야 확실하게 알 수 있습니다.

Update of eligible high demand occupations in the BC PNP Skills Immigration stream

We have updated the list of eligible high demand occupations in the BC PNP Skills Immigration stream to align with the latest version of the B.C. Labour Market Outlook: 2018 Edition that reflects B.C.’s high demand occupations list.

Individuals whose occupations are included in the B.C. high demand occupations list are awarded an additional 10 points in the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System.

These changes do not affect active registrations or applications that have already been submitted.To be awarded the additional points, registrants have to withdraw their existing registration and submit a new registration. Those who have already registered whose declared occupations are now removed from the list will not be affected – their scores will remain the same at the time when registration and/or application occurred.

These changes will take effect on November 7, 2018.
